1. About Philosophical AI

Philosophical AI is a Delaware-based company focused on the development of offline, locally deployed AI products for privacy-critical environments. Our software is designed to run on user-controlled hardware without cloud dependency. This includes enterprise products such as Eden Medical, Eden Legal, and SMF Core, as well as locally licensed personal AI such as Sage.

2. Eligibility

Our products are not intended for open, recreational, or mass-consumer cloud use. By using our software, you confirm that you are either
(a) a licensed professional, organization, or institutional representative authorized to use such software in accordance with local and international laws, or
(b) an individual user who has obtained a valid license to run our software locally on your own device.
You may not resell, host, or expose our software as a public service without written permission.

3. Data and Privacy

Our AI products are designed to run entirely offline. We do not collect, store, transmit, or analyze your local conversations on our servers. There are no cloud syncs, no telemetry, and no hidden analytics.
Products like Sage may store chat history and memory locally on your device to provide continuity, but that data remains under your control. See our Privacy & Data Policy for more details.

4. Licensing

Products such as Eden Intelligence, Eden Medical, Eden Legal, SMF Core, and Sage are provided under individual or enterprise licenses. You may not copy, distribute, sublicense, or reverse-engineer any part of our software without explicit written permission. All licenses are non-transferable and may be terminated if used outside the agreed scope.

5. Software Updates

We may issue updates for security, stability, or feature improvements. It is your responsibility to apply updates as required. Updates are designed to run locally and will not require persistent cloud connectivity.

6. Warranty Disclaimer

All products are provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. Philosophical AI makes no guarantees regarding uptime, performance, or fitness for a particular purpose. Use is at your own risk.
